Version 2.1.2 is looking very promising. You should include the update-service script from the Debian patchworks as well, and if you'd like Gerrit, I'm more than willing to donate our Halt, Pause, Shutdown, and Suspend applets and scripts if it would help bring Runit to a more complete standing point to invite more advocacy from system package builders and maintainers.
