Hi Buck and Avery,
What's "first-class support"?
Is there a way, in this thread, that the service behavior desired could
be described, instead of calling it "first class support"? A ten
minute Google for "first class support" + "init system" brought me
almost nothing, except for some guy saying "first class services" were
basically services governed by the package manager put in /usr/bin
instead of /usr/local/bin.
As far as I can tell, "first class support" is a buzzword most likely
to be understood differently by different people. I'd understand the
thread a lot better if we used actual words or descriptions rather than
buzzwords. I don't think I'm alone.
Thanks,
